"Given our dog's past health issues we always feel at ease knowing Kristine, with her veterinary background, is taking care of him when we are away."

- Alex M.

Meet Kristine, the heart and soul behind Community Pet Care! Kristine's love for animals has been a lifelong journey, starting from her earliest days growing up with her dog Lilac, cat Pumpkin, and bunny Pepper. From volunteering with great-horned owls and leatherback turtles to organizing a Trap-Neuter-Release effort at a local Rhode Island feral cat colony, her passion has always shone brightly.

After earning her Animal Science degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Kristine ventured into a dynamic world of animal-related work. In 2016, Kristine took the position of Cavalia Odysseo's Stable Director, where she oversaw a herd of over 80 horses and managed 50 employees. Her work was not limited to day-to-day management but encompassed large-scale logistics in transportation, veterinary care, and animal advocacy.

In 2018, Kristine moved to Tufts University and became a Sports Medicine Veterinary Technician. There, she received on-the-job training, honing her skills through hands-on experience, collaborating closely with world-class veterinarians to provide top-notch care to large animal patients.

Kristine's dedication to animal welfare is woven into the fabric of her life. Beyond her veterinary training, she's certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. Her journey has taken her from the ranches of Montana to the stables of Germany, from guiding horse treks in New Zealand to rehabilitating racehorses in New Jersey. Along the way, she's been a champion for animal rights, always using this as her guiding compass.

When your furry friends are in Kristine's care, they're in the hands of someone who not only understands their needs but also treats them with the love and compassion they deserve.
